BitLocker Drive Encryption is a technology that is part of such operating systems as Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate/Enterprise, Windows 7 Ultimate/Enterprise, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012, which allows you to protect data by fully encrypting volumes. Rutoken devices can be used to store certificates and encryption keys used by BitLocker technology.
